High Tech Burrito’s management is a combination of experience, innovation, and passion. By bringing those traits all together, you get a management team that’s focused on the future while respectful of the past – and always looking for ways to improve performance. The key members at the helm of High Tech Burrito are:

The Customer

The CEO can make decisions, managers can direct staff, but ultimately everyone at High Tech Burrito answers to the same person: the customer! The customer is the most important person when it comes to the direction of High Tech Burrito. Not only is customer feedback one of the driving creative forces behind the company, customer service is one of the reasons why High Tech Burrito stands above the competition.

High Tech Burrito’s philosophy is that the customer is always right. That’s why we always adhere to our “No Problem Policy” whenever a customer has a question or a complaint. We go the extra mile to customize burritos to whatever the customer wants and always take the time to learn the customer’s name. After all, building relationships is just as important as making great food.

At the end of the day, our success lies in the hands of the customer. We hold ourselves accountable to serving all customer needs from the moment they walk in the door to the time we say goodbye. Nothing else matters other than what customers feel about their High Tech Burrito experience.

Greg Maples, Founder/CEO

In 1986, Greg Maples took a small family inheritance and a vision to create High Tech Burrito. After its initial success, High Tech Burrito grew to three locations, all overseen by Greg’s strong team-building skills and entrepreneurial drive. Over the years, Greg has helped refine all areas of High Tech Burrito, from the menu to operations. A former member of the U.S. Marine Corps, Greg’s story has been profiled by magazines such as Entrepreneur and the San Francisco Business Times. Today, Greg oversees operations, marketing, and strategic positioning.

Bernie Viggiano, Chairman of the Board

A leader in the food processing industry, Bernie Viggiano brings a unique combination of leadership skills, 30+ years of experience, and foresight to High Tech Burrito. As a provider to High Tech Burrito for five years, Bernie found himself wanting to take a more pro-active stance. Impressed with High Tech Burrito’s product and Greg Maples’ vision, Bernie felt that the company was poised to do great things and that his knowledge would be a valuable asset in driving that success. Today, Bernie acts as Chairman of the Board for High Tech Burrito.

Jerry Scott, CFO

With nearly three decades of financial and technology experience, Jerry Scott brings a unique blend of business sense and problem solving capabilities to High Tech Burrito. Jerry’s knowledge and skill have helped High Tech Burrito reposition itself from a financial and operations standpoint, preparing the company for a new period of expansion and growth.
